Since Ole Solskjaer assumed the position of an interim coach he's really been doing well. He has shown that he can bring back the good old days of Air Alex Ferguson.

United seem to be doing well now and we now we can see that their home match win odds have been reduced to around 1.30 odds compared to 1.60 odds bookies used to give them when they were struggling to win average and bottom teams during Mourinho's days.

His pursuit to move from interim to permanent coach has been imperative in every match. Since he succeeded Mourinho United have been victorious in seven games. The match most people thought they would lose (e.g Tottenham) and we all saw how they thrashed them.

At this point, no one is sure whether Solskjaer would be given a permanent job. Everyone is only making guesses and speculations but the truth is, to be given a full job there are a lot of factors and elements that would determine his fate as a permanent coach

Solskjaer would need to keep winning games either against top 4 teams or those at the bottom to increase his chances. During Mourinho's time, United had their embarrassing defeats against team that should have been an easy 3 points for them, but now, United are yet to taste defeat since he succeeded Mourinho. The good old days of United is what they're beginning to experience under Solskjaer

The last seven matches he won were very important to start his coaching career at United and the next seven matches are also important to increase his future as United's coach. This is not to say that he won't lose any game soon but winning more games would really give him a solid foothold.

Although, the Premier League and Champions League seem unattainable for United but FA looks feasible to win.

What do you guys think?
