Rodgers, described Ramsdale as the best shot-stopper in the Premier League. The Gunners emerged as 2-0 victors in their game against Leicester City. After the game, manager Brendan Rodgers was in awe over the outstanding performance of Aaron Ramsdale. At some point in the first half, Leicester striker Barnes had the opportunity to give his team an equaliser with a header in the penalty area. However, the brilliance of Ramsdale was enough to stop the ball from going in.

Asides his form at the club level, the Arsenal shot-stopper would be looking to cement his place as the number one in the three lions set up. Particularly bearing in mind current option Jordan Pickford has been in a not-so-good form with Everton.

Qualities of Ramsdale

In terms of qualities, a few things come to mind when talking about Ramsdale. His agility, his command and reflexes. The reflexes of the English man are second to none. And his ability to command his area is also impressive as well.

Bearing in mind how instrumental Ramsdale has been for the Gunners this season, it would be surprising if he does not make his way to the English number one spot when the next opportunity comes along
