Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo have been given so much attention by the world in the last ten years. Their dominance in football for the past ten years has made other promising players look like they aren't just good enough

Don't get me wrong! What I'm trying to say is there are still many players out there who are also good at what they do just that lack of attention hasn't make them rise to prominence unlike Messi and Ronaldo.

These two players have set high standard for football. Not only that, they have set records that cannot easily be broken by any future player who may even be better than them in the nearest future. As funny as it sounds, Ronaldo and Messi alone are the reason why some people are watching football today.

I believe when they both retire then the world will be able to easily spot or recognize young players with promising career unlike now that some football fans are still blind to seeing the wonder works of other talented players. Once it's not Ronaldo or Messi, he's not good enough

Many have predicted that Mbappe will be the next player that will be celebrated like Ronaldo while some have also predicted that it could be Neymar that will be player that will begin to shine
