Today's U-17 Fifa battle between India Vs Korea is one of the hot topics in India and the reason behind this trendiness is the battle of getting an entry in the international Fifa world. India has been missing from the International football since 1950 from then nothing has changed much in India Football. The only thing which is changing throughout these decades is the racking. India is currently placed at 97th rank in international football team tally close to its all-time the highest rank 94! India is yet to achieve its desired ranking in terms of merit in International football. Today's match was important from the Indian perspective as a win over Korea can fulfill the dream of playing with major international teams!
The Match!
- There was no goal from either side of the team till the first half. Even though Football is not the most popular game played in India. Still, the fans play as the 12th man to cheer-up their team and Indian team is pretty much happy by seeing the immense support from Indian people.
- In the 68th minute, Korea scored their first goal against India. Indian goalkeeper showed the winning temperament and attitude by saving most of the goal however he was not lucky this time and Korea started putting pressure on Indian defense.
- Indian players tried their best to get in the game but the Korean defense was pretty much solid this time and didn't give any chance of leaking goals. Last time both the team joined their hands back in 2006 where Korea clinched the victory over India by 3-1!
- The aim was to flip the results this time to pass the quarterfinal round but unfortunately this time India lost to Korea by 1-0 margin. The only goal was scored by the Korean side.

- Although the journey for Indian U17 team has been finished but their hopes to play with international players are still alive. HFL is about to begin!
- HFL is one of the prominent tournaments to popularize and bring back the interest of Indian in football. This time the slogan is #fanbannapadega which means that to see India playing in the international in the future, one must have to be a fan of football India.
- A social message has been spreading out periodically by various private football programmes to produce Indian football icons. And the positive sign can be seen among the Indian football fans!
- This is one of the biggest attempt to revive Football in India. And I hope that soon we are going to see good news for football people in India!
