It was a clear atmosphere at the Craven Cottage on Saturday when Fulham entertained Arsenal in their first EPL showdown as they got their promotion back to top-flight football. The showdown is also the kick-off to a brand new EPL season of 2020/2021.
Fulham took the ball to Arsenal in the first quarter of the game as they press high to force Arsenal to play defensively.
An early goal by Arsenal courtesy of Lacazette on the 8th minute broke down the pace at which Fulham attacked and Arsenal were able to rearrange themselves to balance the field of play.
Both teams kept on throwing their best at each but the score-line remained the same until the first 45min.
A few minutes into the second half, Arsenal extended their lead through their new intake Gabriel, as he met Willian's corner kick to head the ball into the net.
Arsenal continued their rampage on Fulham as they added another on the 57th minute through Aubameyang and that was enough for Arteta's men to smile back to the Emirates with all maximum points.
