Olympic Council Asian (OCA) President, Sheikh Ahmad Al Fahad Al Sabah has appreciated various parties in Indonesia who are involved in preparations for hosting the 2018 Asian Games.

Indonesia has made good preparations, in a short span of time. A month before the Asian Games, Indonesia is ready to welcome Asian guests to celebrate sports and unity.

No less important is the preparation of the athletes to face the game in the Asian Games. Moreover, the government has set a top 10 target in the medal.

"God willing, the target of the top 10 with better medal earnings than the Incheon Asian Games in the past," said Puan.

In order to realize the target, the government will conduct trials to the athletes who have the potential to win gold medals at the upcoming 2018 Asian Games.

"We also need high performance training, try out overseas, not only in Indonesia so it can compete against other athletes from 45 countries," said Puan.

A total of 13 thousand athletes from 45 countries will participate in the Asian Games 2018 in Jakarta and Palembang from 18 August to 2 September.

South Korea and North Korea for the first time in the history of the Asian Games. will also send joint teams to three sports. It shows the strength of the sport's role for unity.

Related to that, Jakarta Dept. of Tourism holds Training of Youth Guides first batch of 2018 from 25 January to 7 February 2018.

The training was held by the Technical Implementation Unit of the Tourism Profession Training Center (PPPK) with speakers from academics, practitioners and administrators of the Jakarta Guides Association (PHI) Jakarta Branch.
