In the 4th round of UFC 229's main event, Conor McGregor tapped to a rear naked choke ending the fight.

The consistent output and fearlessness both on the feet and the ground from Khabib seemed to put Conor in a place of miscalculation and dread.

The speed in which Khabib was able to cut the distance and grab ahold of the 'Notorious One' was surprising in that he'd never covered space in that way before.

Khabib Nurmagomedov was dynamic in the cage last night. With motivation from Conor's ill words towards his family, religion, and circle of friends, one could easily see that Khabib was out for blood as soon as the bell rang.

Conor McGregor ate a big right hand from one of Khabib's flurries after being dominated on the ground for 5 minutes.

It was a complete uphill battle from the striking technician who seemed to have absolutely no confidence in his speed or power the entire night.

The lethargic nature of Conor makes one wonder if the lifestyle he's attained took away the essence that made him such a brilliant fighter and absolute savage.

The killer instinct was all on Khabib's side, and Conor was happy to simply be surviving late in the fight.

The chain grappling and takedowns of the Dagestani Phenom overwhelmed Conor, and although we have seen a pattern of Conor struggling immensely on the ground in past fights, he honestly just didn't look himself.

The timing, speed and confidence seemed to fade quickly for McGregor in this fight, but he showed a lot of heart for as long as it lasted.

The fight to be made now is Tony Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov ...but that is for another day!
