UFC 240 : Holloway Vs. Edgar

  • Max Holloway [CHAMP] vs. Frankie Edgar  - Holloway |KO/TKO| [Rd 4]

This would have been an interesting match when Frankie was in his prime, during the days of those wars with Maynard and Penn. Still I would prefer a prime Holloway with his all round skills to the pace, and cardio set by Frankie. Holloway has the skills to steer clear of Frankie's pressure and takedowns and Max will pick apart Frankie from the distance punishing him for his grappling attempts. All the respect to Frankie, who is a true veteran and a legend of the sport, and I am such a fan of him, but I think at this time and era of the game he is going to have a tough time against Max who is a beast. Most probably Frankie will tough it out and go the 5 rounds with Max, but I am sensing a TKO finish for Max in the championship rounds, when the distant strikes of Max gets accumulated.
