Lots of decisions in the fight card and some good performances. Leon Edwards with a great game-plan to neutralize RDA, and he executed it well with composure. With the new rankings he should be in the Top #5 at welterweight and he will be open to some interesting matches. I think UFC will not give Masvidal to Edwards. They will try to sell a title fight between Usman and Masvidal as Masvidal is kind of the hot story in the MMA world now with his blistering fast KO of Ben Askren. He might get the winner of Colby and Robbie. I would love to see an all English affair with Darren Till too. I had RDA winning this; I thought he will be the instigator of wrestling exchanges to use his BJJ and replicate his performance against Pettis against the cage (he did try to take Leon down but Edwards had amazing takedown defense).
Andrei Arlovski looked really good in the first 2 rounds. He had fast hands and was moving around well. He was landing punches on Ben Rothwell at will. Rothwell was just looking for that one shot KO. He should have implemented a wrestling heavy gameplan as he got some good chokes too. But Arlovski looked really good to be honest.
Dan Hooker with the quick KO of James Vick and Walt Harris with a thundering knockout of Oleinik (I hope both of them are ok after such vicious KOs )
My most confident pick was Hernandez, and boy was he lucky to get that decision. It was a very very close fight, and to be honest I had Trinaldo winning with his octagon control.
