Jan Blachowicz vs Thiago Santos

Jan has a black belt in BJJ. He is on a 4 fight win streak. He is good in the stand up game. Nice striking, he works the jab and throws a mean hook. Switches his stance and throws high kicks. He is good off his back by looking for submissions. Jan is suspect to getting ground and pounded and eating calf kicks. Jan is a really good fighter and his way to win this fight is to take it to the ground and submit santos.

Thiago has a black belt in Muay Thai and BJJ. He can get taken down but he knows how to get up, has skills in the ground game. He has power in his strikes. I am leaning towards Santos in this fight via TKO. Jan does not always look for the take down, he likes to throw his hands in combination with head kicks. Santos is a dangerous striker, Muay Thai is based off hitting hard and throwing powerful strikes. Santos has shown in his last fight that he can go into deep waters and get back up after getting taken down. This is goingto be amazing, Jan is no joke but I believe Santos has more power in his strikes to win.

Stefan Struve vs Marcos De Lima

De Lima is a big dude, heavy hands and a lot of power. He is a kickboxer and is very wild and flat footed very easy to clip. Struggles to stop take downs, his ground game very weak. Stefan is a 7 foot skyscraper with a 10 inch reach advantage in this fight. Yeah stefan is on a losing streak but those fighters are way better than De Lima. I expect to see stefan to use his reach and get a takedowns when De Lima comes in. Stefan Struve via submission.

Gian Villante vs Michal Oleksiejczuk

Michal is a tough fighter and very aggressive with the take downs to get the ground and pound. Striking is very good. Has a chin and heart. Gian does not put up a lot of striking output, he only looks for the power shots. Michal is the way better fighter in the matchup. I see him winning by TKO.

Liz Carmouche vs Lucie Pudilova

Liz is a strong fighter, strong in grappling but can get caught in the striking. She uses her power for everything, not very technical. She has a black belt BJJ and has good boxing. Lucie is primarily a striker, has nice foot work and movement. She has a background in Muay Thai and BJJ. This will be one hell of a fight, Pudilova is no push over, she has a lot heart and this fight is in her home country, I expect her to use her foot movement combined with her Muay Thai to pull this win via split decision.

John Dodson vs Petr Yan

Dodson is a hell of a fighter if it was not for Demetrious Johnson, he would have been a champion. I know he wish Johnson had left the flyweight division a bit earlier. Yan is phaeton and one of this most impressive prospects in the bantemweight division, this fight will be his first real test. He is a big bantamweight and impressive grappler with really good striking. Dodson is a in and out fighter, it kinda looks like he is running for most the fight but really is trying to frustrate his opponent and het them out of their game plan and into doing something rash. I do not see that happening to Yan, I believe he is the better fighter is this fight. Yan via unanimous decision.

Magomed Ankalaev vs Klidson de Abreu

Ankalaev is a greco roman wrestler with decent striking. Abreu is a submission specialist, who is taking this fight on short notice. This fight is a really tricky one to predict but I am going with the brazilian phenom. I see Klidson winning this fight via submission.
