Repsol Honda rider Dani Pedrosa became the fastest in the second free MotoGP Czech Republic 2018 training by defeating Pramac rider Danilo Petrucci on Friday (3/8).

After occupying seventh position in the first free practice, Pedrosa successfully became the fastest in the second free Czech MotoGP training. The driver who retired from MotoGP at the end of this season recorded a time of 1 minute 55.976 seconds.

Pedrosa managed to lead 0.123 seconds over Petrucci. The third position was occupied by Angel Nieto Team driver Alvaro Bautista who was impressive on the first day of the Czech MotoGP. Bautista was 0.168 seconds adrift of Pedrosa.

Malaysian rider who strengthens Tech3 Yamaha Hafizh Syahrin is in fourth position. Tech3 continued its positive performance after Johann Zarco's first free practice became the fastest.


Czech top standings and Czech MotoGP champion Marc Marquez slumped to tenth. Marquez was up to 0.659 seconds from Pedrosa's time record.

Marquez's closest rival, Valentino Rossi, was seventh behind Andrea Dovizioso and Maverick Vinales. The top ten is occupied by Tito Rabat and Zarco in front of Marquez.
