Jakarta - Labels of MotoGP racers with a style that seems reckless now pinned to Marc Marquez. The stamp was not only given by a handful of people, but also some MotoGP drivers.

Marquez is indeed the best MotoGP racer at the moment. Consistency in recent years is real evidence. In fact, he was able to collect four world titles in just five seasons in MotoGP.

The problem is, behind this greatness, Marquez is considered to have a negative side. The thing that meant was about his aggressive racing style. Since debuting in the 2013 MotoGP, Marquez was immediately known as a big-time racer.

Over and over, he did not hesitate to do aggressive maneuvers during the MotoGP race. Getting here, he became a racer who often gets complaints from other drivers regarding his racing style. The latest driver who criticizes is Jorge Lorenzo.

Kevin Schwantz, the 1993 world champion in the 500cc class, also saw The Baby Alien with the same view. He took the example of what Marquez did at the 2018 Argentina MotoGP where there were several racers who were victims of aggressiveness.

"Competition is a natural thing and it is a matter of race, but Marc is dangerous. For example, in Argentina with Aleix, the contacts he made did not make sense. He did not have things like that," Schwantz said, strengthening Suzuki throughout his career, Tuttomotoriweb quoted.

At the 2018 Argentine MotoGP, there were three drivers who became aggressive victims of Marquez. They are Aleix Espargaro, Andrea Dovizioso and Valentino Rossi. In fact, Rossi fell and failed the podium due to the rubbing given by Marquez.

Schwantz also gave the example of Wayne Rainey's racing style. Schwantz stated that Rainey had been honest about his racing style while still active as a racer.

"Rainey always said that he never made contact with someone without intentions. In 1987 at Brands Hatch, we have made contact many times, but never with a different angle with the aim of getting competitors out," Schwantz stressed.
