Hey there Scorum Fans! Today I present to you Episode 21 of NBA Highlights and for today's episode, I will feature Kobe Bryant's historic 2012-2013 season where he averaged 27.3 points, 6 assists and 5.6 rebounds per game.

After Kevin Durant won the Scoring title for three consecutive years (2010,2011 and 2012), the 2012-2013 season was one of the hottest battles for the award. Unfortunately for Kobe Bryant, from all of those years, he almost won the scoring title and lose by just a little deficit. In the 2011-2012 season, Durant stole the award from Kobe by averaging 30 points against Kobe's 28. It was a close one but Durant took home the award.

In the 2012-2013, Carmelo Anthony was at his best averaging 28 points beating Kobe's 27. It was a hard fought battle but Kobe was an absolute killer because he was already 34 years old in that year. Can you imagine that, averaging 27 points a game at 34 years old is not a feat that anybody else can achieve. Even other superstars will have a hard time to reach that feat but Kobe was really at another level that's why he's sometimes considered as the GOAT and the only player closest to MJ's talent. He almost won the award against Carmelo Anthony who was on his prime when he won the award. But still it was a close fight against a 34 year old Kobe.

Now, let's take a look on how good still Kobe was back in the 2012-2013 season when he almost win the scoring title. Enjoy!
