Hey basketball fans! NBA Opening night is on it's way but today I'm gonna give you some NBA preseason highlights and I will feature the game between the Milwaukee Bucks VS the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Giannis Antetokounmpo puts on a show in Milwaukee after he drops a 32-point triple-double against the visiting Minnesota Timberwolves and took the win, 143-121 on Friday night. Giannis recorded the triple-double playing only 25 minutes in the court. He finished the game with a total of 32 points, 12 rebounds, 10 assists, 3 steals and 1 blocked shot.
It feels like his workout in summer works really well. I think he improves his three-point shooting. He made 2 three-pointers in this game and his passing was terrific. He did a great job penetrating to the lane and finding his open team mates after attracting opponents attention. Giannis will surely have a big year this season and will surely have a strong case to win the MVP.
Khris Middleton added much firepower torturing the defense with his hot shooting. He finished with 22 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists shooting 5 for 8 from beyond the arc. Former rookie of the year Malcolm Brogdon recorded 13 points, 4 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 steal and 1 block shooting a very efficient 80 percent from the field.
Meanwhile, Eric Bledsoe scored 14 points with 7 rebounds, 4 assists and 2 steals. He made 2 threes in the game. Forward Christian Wood once again showed his talents as he finished the game with 19 points and 7 rebounds shooting 7 for 9 from the field.
A lot of drama in Minnesota seemed to affect their performances. The Jimmy Butler situation doesn't look so good and the team looks very much out of focus and energy. Taj Gibson led the team in scoring. He posted 21 points, 7 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal bullying underneath the basket with his post moves. Karl-Anthony Towns shot an awful 2 for 9 from the field on 22.2 percent shooting. He played only 20 minutes and just contributed 8 points, 4 rebounds and 1 block.
Derrick Rose also had a bad shooting night after scoring 16 points with 4 rebounds and 2 assists on 26.7 percent only from the field. He played 32 minutes of game time. Jeff Teague also didn't shot well but he added 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals. Josh Okogie had 11 points, 5 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals off the bench.
This will be the last game for both teams in the 2018 NBA Preseason.
