After being selected as the number one overall pick in the 2019 NBA Draft, Zion Williamson is set to make a lot of money signing in a shoe deal. Many shoe brands offered him a lot of money but he can only choose one. And, finally, he decided to sign with Nike's Jordan Brand. People thought that Zion will never sign with Nike after an incident during his game with Duke University where he blew right through a pair of Nike sneakers and getting slightly injured against the University of Carolina. But still, he decided to sign with Nike's Jordan Brand.
There is no clue on where the athletic forward wants to sign and every shoe brand was after him. There are a lot of options and huge money involved for sure and many think that his deal with Jordan Brand could probably the biggest shoe deal since LeBron James signs with Nike.
"I feel incredibly blessed to be a part of the Jordan Brand family, Since I was a kid, I dreamed of making it to the league and having the type of impact on the game Michael Jordan had and continues to have today. He was one of those special athletes I looked up to, and I really can’t express how happy and excited I am for this journey.” Williamson said in a statement.
