What's up basketball fans! I am here again @dwin0603 to give you another exciting basketball discussion and today I present to you a special episode of NBA Talk, and for this episode, we will talk about the end of the reign of King James. Are you one of those who believes that he is not the best player in the world anymore? Well, let's begin!

The NBA has already changed a lot and as time goes by, LeBron is declining and his dominance is slowly coming to an end. His 27 pts 8 rebs 8 asst shooting 51% stats this season still looks like dominant but when you were watching Lakers game all season long, you will see what the stats can't show to us. The groin injury, he's not 100 percent healthy, and his age, at 34 years old, he's trash defensively now. Those lack of efforts defensively hurts the team a lot and it is not shown in the stat sheets. It feels very different to watch the playoffs without LeBron James there but let's all face this together.

Despite that stats of him, this season will end up as one of the darkest sides of LeBron's historic career. It's been a terrible year for the King but this is something that can help him? You want to know why? There can still be light for the Lakers Nation in the future because of this devastating season. Do you think LeBron's dominance is totally over? Let's break this down.

LeBron's Historic Streaks Will Soon Be Over

Playoffs Streak

The first streak that will end for James is, of course, the playoffs. The 14-year dominance is officially over this season. The Lakers are officially eliminated and LeBron will have to spend April to June at home watching the TV with his kids and wife. I think this will be very emotional for James because he's done things differently in the past 14 years and now it's going to change. But he has to bear this and move on.

Finals Appearance Streak

Next is his 8 consecutive NBA Finals appearance. It's obviously also the end for this streak as he misses the playoffs this season. But read that again, 8-straight Finals appearance, wow, it just shows how dominant LeBron is in the past decade. This will be the first time since 2010 that we will not see LeBron James in the Finals. It's crazy to think of it. We will miss seeing the guy carry his team against the Golden State Warriors.

All-NBA First Team Streak

For me, this streak is one of the most important. Being in the First team All-NBA only shows that a player is in the top 5 in the league. The best 5 players in the league will be included on that list and after 12 years, LeBron will be out of that list. The streak is over and his dominance is over. By the way, other stars play plus their team's success, it will be impossible for James to his name on that list. Look how good is James Harden, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Joel Embiid, there is no room for him in the first team All-NBA so that streak would probably end.

Is it totally over for LeBron?

Well, I don't really see his career falling down from here. I still believe he will bounce back next season and take revenge. Missing the postseason this year and ending all of the streaks will just help him get better next season. And as Sekou Smith of NBA.com said, this break is what LeBron actually needed. He needs to rest his body and his mind after being there for a long time. It's a much-needed break, he said. He needed this time to rest his mind and body for all the pressure of the playoffs and the finals. He needs to feel different now. This will help him grow and it will also help his health and motivate himself to get ready for the next season. He doesn't deserve to be a shame for the Lakers fans after falling down in his first year with them because he did all he can for this team in his first year but still wasn't enough. For whatever reason why the Lakers failed this year, it will never change and should use that to learn from their mistakes and grow as a team and grow individually for themselves, for the fans and for the team. Now we have to wait till next season and see what good can this failure bring to LeBron and the Lakers.
