The much awaited decision by LeBron James was the hottest move people are talking about. There are many speculations on where will James will sign. There are many teams involve in acquiring the best player in the world and they did everything they can just to convince The King to join them. The Philadelphia 76ers and the Houston Rockets are the front runners in getting the service of LeBron James.

I'm sure The King was very temp to join forces with young stars Ben Simmons and Joel Embiid in Philadelphia, and of course he is much tempted to join his close friend Chris Paul and the reigning MVP James Harden in Houston as they almost beat the Golden State Warriors in the Western Conference finals. And adding LeBron James to the mix will definitely make Houston the title contender and the only team who can compete with the Warriors in 7 games.

In an exclusive interview with ESPN, LeBron discuss his move to the Lakers. He said that it was very tough leaving Cleveland. It was tough leaving your home land and it was also hard to leave the organization that he's been with in years. He said it's tough leaving Cleveland for the first time, leaving Miami, and leaving Cleveland again. But he and his family believe that the decision he made is just the best for LeBron and his family.

“I thought long and hard about the possibility of lining up alongside Ben and Embiid or lining up beside Harden and Chris..I like the challenge of being able to help a team get to places that they haven’t been in quite a while. Obviously, the Lakers haven’t made the playoffs in a few years.” James said.

We can say that leBron started the trend in building a super team after teaming up with Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh in Miami back in 2010. But before he joined Miami, the Heat is not a championship team. LeBron never join a championship bound team unlike Kevin Durant. Miami's record was 47-35 before LeBron joins them. That's a pretty good record but not championship bound. Another situation is when LeBron went home to Cleveland in 2014 to join forces with Kyrie Irving and Kevin Love. Cleveland's record was 33-49 before James came. A bad record that didn't even make the playoffs. But with the arrival of The King, the Cavs immediately improved their record to 53-29 and went all the way to the finals.

Like what LeBron said, he likes the challenge of making a team go to places they haven't been in a while. He did that two times in Cleveland and Miami. And wherever LeBron goes, he always make the team better and reached the finals. He makes everybody around him better. Even though the Lakers have a young core and didn't have any all stars other than LeBron, I believe LeBron can carry this team to the playoffs. The Finals is not guaranteed now because he is now in the Western Conference and the Golden State Warriors have improved a lot after signing all star center DeMarcus Cousins. Let's just wait and see where can LeBron take this young Lakers team.
