If Brooklyn deserves the market's rating to date, Utah, without making too much noise, is the team that has perhaps managed to reinforce more with a series of intelligent moves and is now on the starting line for next season with great ambitions.

An incredibly positive offseason, started with the trade that brought a reliable point guard like Mike Conley to Salt Lake City, giving way to a restyling of the team that found its fulfillment in the first two days of the NBA market.

The new General Manager of Jazz, Justin Zanik, immediately rolled up his sleeves by sending messages to the entire NBA from the first hours of free agency. Utah, in fact, has made it clear that it wants to aim high by agreeing precisely with the opening of the market with Indiana's free agent Bojan Bogdanovic (four-year from 73 million dollars) to then do the former Nets Ed Davis (biennial of 10 million dollars) not only the new backup of Rudy Gobert, but also an important piece of the Jazz frontline. The agreement with Bogdanovic has forced the management to sell Derrick Favors (finished in New Orleans) but the direction taken by the franchise seems to be the right one.

On the second day of the market, Zanik announced an agreement with two interesting players (both at minimum salary) such as veteran Jeff Green and former Knicks Emmanuel Mudiay, destined to give versatility to the Jazz bench. In a couple of weeks Zanik transformed the Jazz, making them much more dangerous on an offensive level, thanks above all to the additions of Conley and Bogdanovic, but without losing sight of the trademark of a team capable of closing the last three seasons with one of the first five "defensive rating" of the NBA.

Bogdanovic in particular arrives in Salt Lake City after having produced his best season in the NBA, closed with 18 points with 4.1 average rebounds, pulling with 49.7% from the field and with 42.5% from long distance. The Croatian then made incredible progress at a defensive level and can now make a difference on both sides of the field. Donovan Mitchell and Rudy Gobert therefore receive as a dowry not only two fundamental pawns able to send the Jazz to the high quarters of the Western Conference, but also players who are efficient in the offensive aspect such as Green and Mudiay, without forgetting Ed Davis, who has just returned from a good championship with the Nets.

Difficult to ask for more from Justin Zanik and the Utah fans can now really dream. back from a good season with the Nets.
