Houston Rockets pulled off a smooth move yesterday

Houston Rockets trade Ryan Anderson to Phoenix Suns in exchange for Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss.

Houston acquired Brandon Knight and Marquese Chriss from Phoenix and finally said bye bye to a playoff absent, Ryan Anderson. After watching the video above, courtesy of ESPN and their "gossip/drama" creators... I was left with one question...

Why do they think so highly of Trevor Ariza?

Don't get me wrong, he was the best side step aquisition the Rockets made back when Mark Cuban, blew his load on Chandler Parsons in a vain attempt to dismantle the power house the Rockets eventually came to be. His defense was a serious upgrade and saying, "adios" to Chandler Parsons was an obvious, smart move.. but to act like Trevor Ariza is the reason the Houston Rockets have been a championship contender is a bit of an exaggeration, to say the least.

The Question About Defense...

Houston took a loss from a defensive standpoint but made a few acquisitions that we can only hope, make up for it. What is interesting is the fact that Houston has literally rid themselves of the players who were an obvious no show in game 7 of the Western Conference finals and also, responsible for the 0 for 27 shooting streak from beyond the arc, the new NBA record. My question to you is....

Will we see the return of, Clutch City?
