We're back for week 2 of my 100 SCR College Football Survivor Contest. Make sure to visit my blog tomorrow for another special contest that everyone will be able to join.
After losing 8 players last week we are down to 38. If you participated last week and are still alive, it's time to pick your team. Just remember that your team has to win in order to survive to next week AND once you pick a team you cannot choose that team again for the entire season.
Deadline
Friday 11:59 PM CDT. Any entries after this time will not be accepted. If you are late or do not pick a team, you will be eliminated. If you pick a team that is not playing or if you have already picked that team, I will try to ask you for another pick, however, you are responsible for picking your team from the list below and not choosing a school you have picked in the past (I keep a list and check it twice, don't be naughty).
Week 2 Games Eligible for the Contest
Simply select one team from the games below. Remember, don't pick a game, pick a team:
Oklahoma (#5) @ Iowa State
Kent State @ Penn State (#11)
Miami (#21) @ Toledo
UC Davis @ Stanford (#9)
Vanderbilt @ Notre Dame (#8)
Georgia Southern @ Clemson (#2)
BYU @ Wisconsin (#6)
LSU (#12) @ Auburn (#7)
Boise State (#17) @ Oklahoma State (#24)
SMU @ Michigan (#19)
San Jose State @ Oregon (#20)
Alabama (#1) @ Ole Miss
Middle Tennessee @ Georgia (#3)
Louisiana @ Mississippi State (#16)
Ohio State (#4) @ TCU (#15)
USC (#22) @ Texas
Washington (#10) @ Utah
Arizona State (#23) @ SDSU
East Carolina @ Virginia Tech (#13)
West Virginia (#14) @ NC State
UCF (#18) @ North Carolina
My Pick: I Choose Michigan (I picked Miami last week)
Michigan is favored by 35 points at home against an outmatched Southern Methodist team who is 0-2 to start the season. I think there will be other good weeks to use them later in the season, but you have to make sure you survive each week, so pick a strong team in a game they are likely to win.
LOVE CONTESTS? I am donating 10 SCR to @hellsbelle's upcoming NASCAR competition! Make sure to check out her blog over the next couple of days to enter the competition!
Good luck! Make sure to pick your team from the games listed above, and comment below. Have any questions, ask below, and thanks for joining us.
