Head Football Coach
New Head Football Coach Chad Morris takes over this season for an Arkansas program seemingly in shambles after a very disappointing four-win season under departing Coach Bret Bielema. There is plenty of enthusiasm from Coach Morris and he will have fifteen returning starters on his team, but will that be enough to produce a winning season? A new coach bringing a completely new offensive scheme and a roster consisting of athletes that by SEC recruiting standards were rated below average on everyone's charts. This spells a tough road ahead and the potential for disaster. I am personally giving Coach Morris and this team the benefit of the doubt. If they dedicate themselves to putting in the time to learn the new scheme and come out to play this Fall I believe that they will have their winning season and a bowl invitation. My prediction is a 7-5 season with a key win over Texas A&M.
Key Offensive Players
Junior OG Hjalte Froholdt 6-5 311lbs.
Junior WR Jonathan Nance 6-0 182 lbs.
Key Defensive Players
Sophomore MLB De'Jon Harris 6-0 242 lbs.
Sophomore DL McTelvin Agim 6-3 286 lbs.
I stepped out on a limb with the prediction for a 7-5 season so this team will have to really step it up and get behind their new head coach and defensive coordinator to keep me from looking bad. Of course, I doubt very much that they are worried about how I look but they will be more interested in erasing some of those bad memories of disappointing losses from last season.
