-

Welcome back everyone! The final day of the college hoops regular season is finally upon us! We had an eventful day of action yesterday that impacted the field from top to bottom. We are getting down to crunch time for teams to make their final push for an at-large bid. Two teams officially punched their tickets to the "Big Dance" yesterday, and several others either helped - or hurt - their potential chances.

-

Creighton got a big win at home in a rout of Seton Hall to get them a piece of the Big East regular season title, while Florida State wrapped up the ACC regular season crown, and the Wisconsin Badgers rallied past Indiana on the road to clinch at least a share of the Big TEN regular season title - and the #1 seed in the league's conference tournament. West Virginia also scored a big upset victory over Baylor, and Auburn cruised past Tennessee by 22. The Oregon Ducks also won the Pac-12 regular season title with a victory over Stanford last night, coupled with UCLA's close loss to USC.

Source: anonymouseagle.com / Creighton's impressive 77-60 victory over Seton Hall got the Blue Jays a share of the Big East regular season title.

While those teams all scored noteworthy victories to close out the regular season, some weren't as fortunate. Stanford missed their opportunity for a marque road victory and finished up just 9-9 in Pac-12 play despite solid metrics. The loss means the Cardinal have some work to do in the Pac-12 tournament to play themselves back into the field. Texas also suffered a potential damaging loss. While the Longhorns had been hot as of late, they were blown out at home by Oklahoma State, who came into the game at just 6-11in Big XII play. The untimely loss dropped them to "First 4 Out" territory.

-

N.C. State slid into the field, and Mississippi State received a boost as well, as the Bulldogs are now the first team out of the field. Wichita State & Memphis both have big games today in the American Athletic, as they look to improve their chances & land on the right side of the "bubble". With just one day left in the regular season and conference championship week nearly upon us, let's jump right in and take a look at the projected tournament field:
