The great Earl Thomas is out for the season due to a broken leg. Coach Pete Carroll says he may be back in time for the Superbowl should Seattle make it. The future for the Seahawks does not look so bright these days.

This might have been the final game Thomas plays for Seattle. Its the final year of his contract he receiving 8.5 million dollars.

Will he return to Seattle next season? Not likely. Another team will be able to offer him a better contract and believe me there will be great demand for Earl Thomas.

Since 2010 Thomas has caught 28 interceptions and forced 10 fumbles. He returned two of the interceptions for touch downs.

Thomas would be a great addition to any defence in the NFL.

Teammate Richard Sherman gave Thomas a shout out on Twitter following the 20-17 victory over the Cardinals.

He will recover and bounce back from this injury. Thomas is only 29 years old. Will be interesting to see where he plays next year.
