Generic Superiority and Moral Superiority Of Race and Racism.
Image Source. What comes to mind when issues such as race and racism are on the front burner, is; "right makes might". But the question is, what is right? or rather still, who is right? If we really want to achieve true social progress world over, we must ignore and put less emphasis on the pigmentation of the skin, in the same way as we ignore the color of hair or eyes. The truth is that only “modern” supremacists and anti-racists obsess over the skin color. For the former, it is to convince themselves of any genetic superiority, as for the later, they make it a matter of tribal identity while conferring on themselves a moral superiority which is, basically, nothing but pure condescension. As long as hair or eye color has nothing to do with any genetic superiority or inferiority, it would be just as absurd to make it a question of identity. Have you heard anyone saying "the red people", or "the brown-eyed community"? The funniest thing about the whole hullabaloo is this, the internal organs have no regard for the color of the skin of a receptor in the case where a transplant is needed. What matters is for the donors and the receptors organs to match and nothing more. Why should it be otherwise for skin color? If you look at it very well, you will discover that it is the only pigmentation and that's where it stops. We must put an end to all correlations between skin color and capacity or identity stereotypes. Supremacists and anti-racists are two sides of the same coin for this purpose. The two camps are feeding on each other and only maintain an old vicious circle. I don't know about you, but I grew up with as a moral guide, the magnificent speech by Martin Luther King on the judgment of character and not skin color in his "I Have A Dream". If we all can integrate it to an extent, there is every chance that we will literally become "colorblind" of the epidermis. What should be a fundamental quality has become a flaw according to our anti-racists. For them, it is a denial of reality. Their obsession with maintaining this worldview is the responsibility of the pyromaniac firefighter. An identity based on skin color gives meaning to their sense of savior. Like a firefighter who fears that he will no longer have a job when everything becomes flammable. For them, the absence of races means the absence of cause. They need their cause to save only their skin and give meaning to their lives. Yes, there is still work to be done, very much. what I am speaking about may seem utopian in form and content, but it is time to give ourselves some valid directions. It is high time we aim for the strength of character rather than act color-wise. We must be anti-racist rather than racists. We should be free of self-imposed superiority on the bases of pigmentation. We must not hide under a complex for our inabilities to attain our highest dreams. Whether we like it or not, we must dispense ourselves of all forms of bias and inclinations before we will be able to make positive, long-lasting strides in our livelihoods. The world has evolved such that, issues of race and racism must take a backseat to the realities starring at us in the face, to say nothing of how God intended it to be. Sincerely @izge.
