I think omaha is the weirdest poker of all the versions I know.

To be honest, I started the game thinking it was a normal table of omaha, to learn more about it.

I did not see it was head up, and worse LIMITed in bets.

First I tried to play with what I know about Omaha, and it turned to be a nightmare, or the guy in front of me was a genius or a lucky player.

I felt bored, as heads up limit is not the kind I prefer so, I played wildly, raising all hands I could, trying to finish it a bit earlier ( by loosing more than obviously), but lady luck decided to make the chip leader out of me.

I had something like 2000 chips and he had only a few hundreds left, so I started to play the best I could, again.

Even when I had nice hands, the pot was chopped, and the guy went back to 1500 chips each.

So, unless I miss something, this game is mostly a LUCK game or rewards bad play.

After what looked like an eternity, finally I won with a straight, but I am not sure I will play another Omaha hi/lo limit heads up anytime soon. I prefer the no limits games, and I have still much to learn about Omaha.

If anyone had time and/or a good method for me to learn more about Omaha, I am more than willing to learn. Omaha seems to have a big success, so it must be funny.
