Hello Scorum World!
A few days ago I was excited to finally see that little coveted pro symbol next to my profile name. What does it mean to be a pro? Well it pretty much means EVERYTHING! lol. For those of you who are new, once you reach the 1000 mark you get the pro symbol next to your name, and it means you have made it to the big time. You have left the ranks of the amateurs and have been welcome into a "League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and Women." And supposedly it lets you use a slider, so you can upvote people less then 100%, which will come in handy so I can start upvoting comments. Although, I don't see a slider yet...
I have been pretty busy as of late, but have still tried to post at least twice a week. I have had some ideas come to mind that I might like to share with you all, but then sometimes I would doubt myself, and think, "Nah, they don't want to hear about that." Then I would ask myself, what would Yoda say? I am pretty sure Master Yoda holds all the records for the Jedi sports that we never heard about. And of course if he would have competed in the Pod Racing in Episode 1, he would have won pretty easy, no contest really. I digress, what would he say?
It has been fun sharing with you my personal stories as it relates to the sporting world or gaming world of some kind. From my retirement from Fantasy Football to my short lived boxing career to creating your own bow to rock climbing, and many more topics. I have enjoyed writing these stories and experiences down, most if not all have never been written down. It has also been nice being exposed to sports I haven't heard of, insights on sports I thought I knew a lot about, and of course it has been fun playing online poker with those of you that play.
Most of all I thank you all for your support, your upvotes, your comments, and of course the content that you post. Things are busy, so I am not sure if I will be able to post more then a few articles a week here, but I am sure you don't mind, there are plenty of amazing posts to read, hahaha. :)
This platform is awesome and it is very easy to use. I enjoy the interface far more then Steemit, it is like a blend between Steemit and Medium, which I really like. One small feature I wish we had, would be like a username specific search, sometimes it is difficult to find people using the search that we have, it doesn't always seem to find their profile. Anyone else have that problem? Maybe it is just me...haha
This week I will continue my quest to beat Mike Tyson, it is getting tougher, but it is sure to be fun! Stay tuned!
Thanks again for welcoming me and supporting me in this awesome blogging journey!
Your Scorum Friend and New Pro,
Matt aka @bayareasportsfan
