Earlier this week, I introduced the idea for "Fund This Idea!" To sum it all up, the basic concept is to give 200 SCR weekly (for 10 weeks) to fund an idea of a member of the community.

The criteria are as follows:

  • Benefits the community
  • Can be completed with just 200 SCR or less
  • Is creative

The first week of the contest is now over and it's now time to reveal the idea or ideas I chose to fund with this week's 200 SCR. If you would like to judge or contribute to this idea, please drop a comment below or contact me on Telegram or Discord.

I was hoping for more entries, but what can I expect when it's just the first week of this experiment and when I'm only giving out a total of 200 SCR? I appreciate everyone who voted and participated. Here are the entries.

Kryptokeeper suggests using the 200 SCR to attract new players to Scorum Poker.

I suggest using the 200 SCR on getting new players to scorumpoker. Put out a post asking for volunteers who want to play poker. Each person who signs up gets an equal share of 200 chips. The caveat is that they can only use the chips for ring games or sit n go's and they must be a part of the discord channel.

If I got 200 SCR, I want to buy a tourist spot picture where some Scorum friend lives and he/she originally took. It's better if some explanation added. I will pay 200 SCR to whom offers me this service.

Luckily if I get the 200 SCR today, I will stake 100 on Manchester City and 100 on Juventus/Barcelona.

Why choose one when you can select several winners? I'm deciding to spread the love in this first week and award the four who submitted ideas or comments to the first "Fund This Idea!" post. Please see below as to my thoughts and recommendations as I send you each the amount of SCR I mentioned.

I am sending you 100 SCR to try to attract new users to Scorum Poker. You can do this in anyway you see fit, but what I would recommend (you do not have to listen to me because I'm sending you the 100 SCR regardless) is to first clear the idea with Tuck or Beth (whoever would send the SCR to poker accounts) and then just offer an equal share to each player who signs up for a new poker account in a week. If it's just one player, they win 100 SCR.

Fnemoto, I like the thought behind your idea and I think you can make history. I'm not sure if SCR has ever been traded for a physical good. I am sending you 50 SCR to try to trade it for an asset. What I would recommend is making a post, asking what someone would sell you for 50 SCR. You could then select the best offer and make the trade. I would be happy to participate.

Hey there @easyboi! I'm also sending you 25 SCR, but there's a catch! In your post, you mentioned that you would bet on Manchester City and Barca/Juve. I'm asking that you put all 25 SCR on an underdog instead of a favorite (odds at 3.0 or greater). Can't wait to see who you choose to bet on and good luck!
