Mesut Ozil has hailed Arsenal's terrific second-half performance in the win over Leicester as "sexy football".

The German was in sensational form and had a hand in all three goals as the Gunners came from behind to win 3-1 at the Emirates and secure a 10 consecutive victory in all competitions.

Ozil was captain for the night and scored the leveller shortly before half-time with a delightful placed finish, in off the post.

He was then heavily involved in two stunning moves in quick succession, both of which resulted in tap-in finished for substitute Pierre Emerick-Aubameyang.

After the game the 30-year-old tweeted: "I think we played some sexy football tonight. Proud captain of this team and this club!"

Full-back Hector Bellerin also had an excellent night, setting up both Ozil's effort and Aubameyang's first strike, but admitted the Gunners had ridden their luck a little as the visitors dominated the opening half hour.

Arsenal 3-1 Leicester: Aubameyang and Ozil make it 10 wins in a row

"It has been a difficult game, they've put us in some trouble, but we stood up," he told Sky Sports.

"In the second half when the football started flowing we were finding a bit more space.

"What is important is to get a good reaction. We know if we play the football we can we're going to have the chances.".
