It is already middle of January and hope all of you have been doing well so far this year. Some things have been a little rough here on Scorum recently but I hope everything will settle down soon.
Today it is the time to introduce another writer who I accompanied with my Scorum Patronage initiative. Last week's choice was @franz54, whose blog I checked out for a whole week to read his articles and to support him with my upvotes.
What is Scorum Patronage?
Scorum Patronage is my commitment to support and motivate new and aspiring writers, and to help same to get some needed attention.
You can read more about it in last week's nomination post:
Who is @franz54
@franz54 has joined Scorum in October last year and he is based in Venezuela. He writes mostly in English but some of his articles are also written in Spanish, I like it when people take on the extra effort to post in two (or even more) different languages.
His passion is clearly motorsports, so learned something about the world of racing and rallies. Quite a different topic for me to dig in, but I am glad he is taking on a sports which hasn't been so popular on Scorum yet.
Some of his articles are also about motorsports games, and he often writes and explains very detailed and I can see the passion behind his posts.
Some very new information for me was, that there is even some E-Formula championship, which focuses on electricity fueled cars. I hope this kind of technology will help to develop more cares, which are eventually cleaner and safer for our environment.

So far motorsports didn't usually get that much attention as let's say football, but since there are creative writers like @franz54 and also @rougebot, who nominate him for this Scorum Patronage round, I am not worried this topic will be left out. Everyone who take on some niche topic at an early time has a good chance to establish himself as one of the "experts" here on Scorum. Of course it still needs some quality blogs based on good research.
I am glad another interesting writers has found his way to Scorum to enrich our growing platform with some cool sport blogs. It looks he is on a good way to find his place in our growing and supportive community. Some of his articles during the last week ended up with a quite good post reward, I will claim a little of this success due to my humble assistance. Glad I could be of some help!
And @franz54, don't worry. I will surely continue to check out what you have to write and say in the future, even this round of Scorum Patronage has ended.
Everybody else, please have a look at his blog, say Hello to him and check out some of his posts. And I am sure he will be happy about some encouraging comment or upvote as well.
The next nomination round is coming soon
Even though nominations are still running a bit low I will continue where I have started last year and open the next round in a couple of days. May aim is to support a different writer in each different week this year, so I still have some work to do.
I will run Scorum Patronage as long as there are genuine and creative writers who are struggling finding readers for their sport blogs. I hope through my assistance those writer feel motivated to write even better posts and keep up their good work. Not every of our articles goes sky-high and sometimes it could feel a bit discouraging, seeing our own contribution getting sucked and lost in the big Scorum nirvana. That's why some little support can often go a long way and really help to build strong links and ties between other members of our growing community.
Let us all be known for positive actions, for genuinely caring for other Scorum members too and for a welcoming and embracing atmosphere. If we really care about the future of Scorum we need to support those who are not as successful as we are, even though our actions won't see any immediate reward. Let's get otr of our groups and circles and find those writers who might need some support. Read some new blogs, leave encouraging comments and upvotes, and eventually take the little time to nominate somebody at the next Scorum Patronage round. Being nominated alone could be a huge motivation for somebody to continue writing good articles.
I am very thankful for all that positive feedback I got so far and also for seeing some of the writers, who I supported during the Scorum Patronage rounds before, doing now very well and being fully integrated in our active Scorum community. That's where I want to see everybody else as well.
I am always open for your comments or suggestion, and you can also talk to me in the Scorum Patronage discord channels I am running on the I am Scorum server.
Catch you all soon!
