And the decision is made!
The year comes to an end and so did the last Scorum Patronage nomination round in 2018. Thanks a lot, everyone who stopped by and participated.
Even though most of us seem to enjoy the holidays I will stick to what I have promised and continue assisting another Scorum writer for a whole week. For the next seven days I will visit and read this writer's blog and upvote one post every day. I am planning to vote with 100%, unless I have the feeling the post might not deserve such a big upvote since I would like us all to stick to the quality standards we would like to see here at Scorum.

Let's get back to the nomination.
I invite you every week to leave me some comment with the name of a user who has been struggling and having problems getting some attention and finding readers for their blog posts. But this round too everyone had the chance to also just nominate themselves. I just asked for some short and entertaining explanation why exactly you might deserve to be supported.
Nomination were down again, even I kept it an open round. However, one of the loyalest Scorum members @fraste always joins and leaves some genuine suggestion of someone who needs more recognition. I really appreciate this effort.
His nomination was for @raamesa, who also happened to be the only one to apply for himself. Therefor the decision wasn't difficult at all and we have a clear winner.
@raamesa it is!
He has just joined this month but seems to be posting frequently. And since he is also writing about the unknown sports of crickets, it really looks I will be broaden my horizon this week. I am looking forward to some interesting reads...
And as also promised before I will shower a couple of upvotes for everyone who joined this nomination round. I hope this might be a little incentive for others to participate next year because you all can be sure than Scorum Patronage will continue what we have started.
I will open the first round of the new year on Thursday, which is the day when I usually start nominations. Please mark this day in your calendars so you won't forget to stop by and miss out on participating.
I am also open to any suggestions how to improve the Scorum Patronage project. The reason we are here is to support and assist writers who are creating quality content but have problems getting recognized. It is not only writers who have just joined recently, even Scorum members who have been here for a while are often struggling finding readers and those too I want to include and support.
Leave me your comments or come over to chat in the Scorum Patronage channels on the I am Scorum Discord server. There you can also find the latest announcements and the profiles of all the former beneficiaries
Let's not forget, blogging here on Scorum is not only for getting a fat upvote. Interaction and some genuine comment under one of our articles can be some really motivating and stimulating feedback as well.
I am wishing everyone a Happy New Year and a smooth start into 2019. Let us work on succeeding together and let us make Scorum a place where everyone feels welcome. As I said on Thursday I will open the first round of the next year and I am hoping to see everyone jumping on it and fill the comments like crazy with tons of exciting nominations.
See you on the other side..
