Hello Scorum!
It's Sunday again and this weekend has started yesterday with some little unexpected surprise. Bitcoin went up more than 20 percent and finally took another look above the 10.000 $ level again. And Scorum Coin too had the courage to follow the lead and also gain more than 50 percent compared to its price a couple of days ago.
Sure this are some good signs, but of course we can't be sure that we are now seeing some better days in the crypto world. There is still to much uncertainty and the trend isn't really on our side yet. And if we are honest, the price for the Scorum Coin is still painfully low, we are still talking about less than a dollar. We are now coming from a real low and the way up to were we would like to see us is definitely a long and tough one. Recently I haven't been sure at all, whether we are still on track and able to actually get out of this valley of tears. And even now I rather see yesterday's move as a short-lived flash in the pan. But of course I will be happy if things turn out differently and we could see the light again.
However, today it is Sunday and I want to announce our next Scorum Patronage beneficiary. As always let my first say thank you the everyone who has supported me and who has joined the nominations. Without you guys I wouldn't have come so far.
What is Scorum Patronage?
The idea behind Scorum Patronage is to accompany some different writer every week to help him to fins some exposure and to get out into the Scorum spotlight. Getting noticed can be tough so I am sure a helping hand can always be useful.
You can find this round's announcement by following this link:
Let's get back to the nominations. I always come up with the same, very simple question:
Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?
This week we had only one nomination, thanks to the @dexpartacus for not letting me down. I will send you some nice upvote on your nomination comment.
And only one nomination makes things much easier. After checking and accepting our candidate I hereby declare our new beneficiary.
Congrats go out to @saswat036!
He has just joined this month and taken on the challenge of writing and posting here on Scorum. I hope my support will encourage him to take up writing now full scale and to provide us with some more quality posts.
I will start upvoting our winner from tomorrow and also leave our winners a message telling them that they will be assisted by Scorum Patronage.
As always I am planning to vote with up to 100% of my voting power, but of course it all depends on quality and quantity. And in case I am sensing any scent of copy and past posts, or stolen content I reserve myself the right to not vote at all. But hey, I am always positive that we are getting some great content this week.
That's why I am looking forward to some great articles and to get to know some different Scorum blogger this week.
Some final words...
I am actually wondering how many people are reading until here. At the end of my Scorum Patronage articles I always write about some different topics, some are crypto some others are sports related. To be honest I am mostly doing this to pass the plagiarism checker, cause otherwise it will tell me that I am stealing content from my own articles and lower the post payout.
Fair enough so I will just write a bit about what is going on to fill some space and kill some time. Union Berlin has lost 1:2 versus Bayern Munich, but they can be quite proud about keeping it tight against the German record champion. Sure it would have been nice to bring at least one point back home, but nobody really expected even that result. Respect and good luck for the next games!
Bayern is back to leading the Bundesliga table but the recent results and games give hope that this season will stay exciting till the very end again. Quite some teams, like Wolfsburg or Mönchengladbach or playing pretty well this season and are having a chance to take over the lead. Hopefully Bayern will not get there next title, it is really time to see some different team celebrating after the 34th match day.
Rugby is also still going on, England has just made its way into the finals, kicking out the All Blacks. What a surprise, now they have the big opportunity to crown themselves as "Champion of the World"!
The host from Japan had made it into the quarter finals, another big surprise but if you had a closer look at their team you will easily noticed how diverse and international it actually is. You only need 5 years of living here in Japan to be able to play for the Japanese rugby national team. You don't even need he Japanese nationality. Quite different to football where there are quite some hurdles and obstacles to play for a different country. But well, different sport - different rules.
Alright, that is all for today, I am wishing all of you a great rest of the day and a week full of exciting tasks and encouraging challenges. As I wrote before I will have some busy days preparing for the big move back home on the other side of this planet.
But you can bet that I will be back soon with another nomination round and I am hoping to see you all there.
Feel free to leave me some comments or critics, since I am still planning on improving my initiative. Just hook me up with your thoughts.
Catch all you guys soon...
