And the decision is made!

It is a Sunday again and what a beautiful day it was. After spending some quality time with my folks, now it is time to turn my attention to you and the Scorum Patronage nominations. A big thank you to everyone who stopped by and suggested a Scorum user who could need some support. And also to the people who upvoted the announcement post for more visibility.

This week too, I will assist one writer for a whole of seven days and visit his or her blog to read and upvote one post daily. I am planning on using 50 to 100% of my voting power, according to length and quality of each article. However, I reserve myself the right to lower my vote if I feel a post is not making it up to the quality standards we would like to see here at Scorum.

What is Scorum Patronage?

The plan behind Scorum Patronage is to support and upvoye writers to help them to get their posts noticed by the Scorum community. We all have experienced how tough blogging can be, therefor it is essential to stay motivated. That's why I will visit, read and comment all posts of the "choice of the community" for the next seven days. And after that week, I'm also going to write an article where I will introduce that certain writer, what hopefully helps to shed some more light on their work.

And as you can read in this article, Scorum Patronage is growing bigger and stronger. I am very delighted to see that we are drifting into the right direction.

Let's get back to the nominations. Every week I keep asking you the following question:

Which user here at Scorum deserves a little attention and should be supported by me for a week?

This week we had four nominations for three different writers, but as I wrote before, I would like to supports users who don't earn more than 15 SCR in average and after checking everyone's post pay-outs there will be only one user left.

I am glad there are always a few people out each week who are thinking about some other Scorum members who could need a little push and assistance.

He has been active on Scorum since last June and he is writing a lot about basketball. Let see in what kind of interesting reads I am getting myself this week.

I will start upvoting him from Monday and also leave him some comment telling him that he will be assisted by Scorum Patronage this coming week. Hopefully he will be able to find some new readers for his posts and feels encouraged to provide as with some more quality posts.

I am very happy to announce that Scorum Patronage seems to inspire other Scorum users. @dexpartacus has just announced that he will follow the lead and also start upvoting the "choice of the week". Grazie!!!

So I decided to follow the good @sport-frei in his smart and wonderful initiative! What I consider one of the best since I'm on the platform. Each week I will adapt to his choices and methods of voting by relying on his experience tested during all this time.

So from now on the weekly beneficiary will not only get my upvote, but also another upvote from @dexpartacus. This should really encourage everyone to come up with even better and more informative articles, since being chosen as the weekly winner can now really boost their articles right into the top section and maybe even further.

Now we are twice as strong and we are getting even bigger!!

The last weeks had been a little slow, with less nominations but also less post from the writers who were chosen to receive a week of free support. Therefor I am very glad to see that this round we had a little more traffic in the nomination round and also to receive a lot of encouragement myself. Noticing that my little initiative seems to be mainly well received, is a big motivation for me to keep my work up and to continue my effort assisting and supporting other Scorum users.

These days I am not having much time to write other sports related articles since my family is occupying me almost completely. But hey, there is no better distraction than the own family. However, I am still here to read and vote your articles, even though sometimes I might be a little bit behind.

And as always I am open to your comments and suggestions. Just drop me a line or visit me in the Scorum Patronage channels which I am running on the "I am Scorum" Discord server. Stop by and and say "Hi" even if you just want to chat.
