Nicholas Bett was a world championship 400m hurdles gold medalist who passed on in a car accident. He was born on 27th January, 1990
He was a Kenyan track and field athlete who won world championship event in 2015 and a two time bronze medalist at the African Championship in Athletes
Nicholas died in a road accident in hometown on 8th August, 2018 after returning from the Continental Championship in Nigeria. It was reported that his car hit a bump before loosing control of his car after which he died on a spot. Bett was part of Team Kenya that competed at the just concluded African Athletic Championship in Asaba, Nigeria
