On Tuesday, July 30th, 2019, my Scorum account reached 50 followers for the first time. It means a lot to me to be able to reach this milestone, but obviously it couldn’t have been done without all of you who have supported my projects and helped keep this blog going through your upvotes, comments and follows throughout these past 11 months.
I posted my first article on Scorum on August 20th, 2018, which was a recap of the NASCAR Cup Series race at Bristol that had just taken place over that past weekend: https://scorum.com/en-us/nascar/@zmiller82/busch-breaks-long-winless-streak-at-bristol
Since then, 344 days and 158 articles later, this account was able to make it to the 50 follower mark in less than a year. Over the course of this time, I had started several different series, including the Best Goaltenders by Uniform Number, Championship Tables, The Blowout Sale, Short-Lived, and, most notably, the Top 5 Players of Every World Series, which will be wrapping up in the next few days, at least for the time being. After this, I plan on starting a new series in the Top 5 Players of Every Stanley Cup Finals, set to kick off shortly after the Top 5 Players of Every World Series concludes.
I can’t stress enough how fortunate I feel to have the community of people on Scorum around me, so if there is any article idea that you were wanting me to cover, this is your chance to suggest it.
Leave a comment below for any game, team or athlete that you would like me to cover, and I will do an article about it as a 50 followers special. The winning idea will be selected by random draw out of the collected requests.
Some basic rules/guidelines to follow when leaving your suggestion:
Please only leave one suggestion per account
No rude or offensive suggestions
Requests must be sports-related
Deadline to submit requests is August 1st, 2019, at 11:59 pm ET
If I think of anything else, I’ll edit it in, but for now feel free to leave your suggestions in comments below! I really appreciate everybody for all of the support, and I’m looking forward to building this blog even more in the future.
