Buying and Selling SCR, What Is Your Price?
Have you thought about what your Scorum coins are worth to you? Do you know what they are worth to Scorum Inc. versus the U.S. Dollar? At what price level are you a net buyer and at what point are you willing to sell your coins? How much SP do you want to hold in your account for the long term and why? Pikist When I first heard about Scorum, as I have previously stated several times, my initial goal was to buy and convert at least 300 SCR to SP at up to $1 each. This may sound very silly to you right now but at the time it was a very logical goal for me. At that time I was a member of Steem and I had more than 3K SP over there. My goal on Steemit had been to build an account and a following big enough such that the average income from blogs and curation rewards with Steem at a projected price level of $10 would be enough to replace at least one of my income sources. Before the 2007-2008 financial crisis, I was already concerned about the world's financial system which I believed to be doomed to fail at some point in the future. If such a failure occurred I reasoned, then it was very logical that I would lose at least one of my three small income streams. I had finally achieved that goal on Steem or was very close to it, all that I needed was for the price of Steem coins to rise to the $10 level that I was sure would eventually happen when mass adoption took place. It so happens that during the last Bull market it came very close to that level, but alas the crypto world was not yet ready for mass adoption and we all know what happened next. But the point was made for me and I was correct, had mass adoption actually occurred back then, Steemit would have witnessed an enormous level of success even beyond my prediction and my financial safety net would have been in place. When I first saw Scorum and began to research what they were attempting to do I soon realized that Scorum coins were over 10X more valuable than Steem coins, mainly because they were much rarer. Scorum was the same type blockchain with improved technology and very focused use cases that were set to disrupt multiple industries, and of course, it was rare. I was convinced that the ICO would sell out of Scorum coins before I could accumulate the 300 SCR that I felt that I needed in order to double my chances of replacing an existing income stream, but I had no idea that a terrible bear market was coming until it hit right in the middle of the Scorum ICO. Yet, in what seemed like a disaster at the time, it instead opened up an unbelievable once in a lifetime opportunity for someone like me. A few years earlier I had been financially crippled due to health issues, but even someone living on low income like I currently was could actually build an account on Scorum potentially worth a fortune! So I jumped at the chance, who in their right mind wouldn't? Worldcoinindex My goal of gaining 300 SCR and converting them to SP to replace my income stream was based on the idea that the price of SCR would reach $100 or more as mass adoption took place. Anyone that has been following me here on Scorum knows that this has been my predicted price level from the beginning. For this to happen, mass adoption of blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies must occur first. After learning more about Bitcoin cycles and how they work I gave mass adoption another two complete cycles to occur, if mass adoption does not happen during this Bull cycle then it must do so in the next one or this technology is probably toast. This then was my reasoning for predicting $100 SCR within five years, I was pretty sure at the time that we would complete the Bear market and another Bull/Bear cycle in that time frame. So as you can see from my statements above, SCR is worth at least $1 to me and I have not sold any SCR to date. Barring some kind of an extreme emergency, I do not intend to sell any SCR until the price a least reaches that level. My original goal was 300 SP, then it was 1K SP lol. After reaching 1K I saw that I could probably get to 5K without much trouble. Then came 10K and I was stoked, was it possible to reach 50K? At 50K I decided that the bear market was going to continue for much longer than I origenally thought, so I set my final goal for 100K SP, if I were to reach that level and if Scorum survived the Bear market and received adoption, then I would surely become very wealthy, way beyond anything that I previously thought possible. So here I am with 100K SP and now I've been trying to catch @bamamama up to that level also. I think that we could have made it already if not for COVID-19 and all of the shutdowns. When SCR finally does get above $1 then I will probably start selling some or all of my earnings, this will allow new members the opportunity to gain one of those 300 SP accounts that I first dreamed about. But powering down below 100K is nowhere in my plans, my hope is that Scorum will provide an income that I can pass down to my family to enjoy for many years into the future. So from now on, whenever I'm able to purchase some cheap SCR (Anything less than $1) and combine it with all of the SCR that I earn, then It will either go towards helping my family members build an account on Scorum or I will list it on an exchange at a price starting at about $1.10 and going up from there. As long as there are members willing to sell SCR cheap I will continue to try to scrape together a few extra dollars here or there to purchase it from them and post it back for sale at what I consider the minimum value or higher for Scorum coins. I believe that it is only a matter of time now before serious investors and new members who recognize the true value of Scorum begin to show up and start buying this seriously undervalued asset. When that day arrives mark it down on your calendars, and never forget the days when SCR was cheap, and for just a few dollars a person's dreams could be turned into reality. Pixabay Now let's hear from you, what are your goals for your Scorum account and what are the price ranges that you are looking to buy, or sell SCR at and let us know why you are choosing those levels? Disclaimer: I am no financial advisor and am not pretending to be any kind of financial expert. You should research Scorum for yourself before you invest any money in it yourself. You should also realize that blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies are a new asset class and no one knows what their future will be, investing is risky, and investing in such new asset classes is even riskier, you could easily lose all of your money. These are just my thoughts on Scorum and my strategy going forward and it should be considered nothing more than something to entertain you and give you something to think about!

Why Are People Hanging Around Scorum?
I must profess I am no saint in many respects. I have been selling SCR on the exchange to reclaim my initial 0.8 ETH investment. Think of the game I developed for Scorum? Well just to say it cost me way more than I have managed to earn back sadly. The theme of the game was especially made for Scorum and just as the app version was taking off (now with 250k installs and 10k active users) it got pulled for gambling association and I had to rebrand. Ironically as I believed in the platform at the time, I staked all of that and the sponsor money is now almost worthless compared to the game's development cost! The platform has almost completely been abandoned by the Scorum team. I stopped blogging when SCR went so low it just wasn't worth my time. But I have been keeping an eye on whose been writing here and a few old users are back. So I am wondering why people are choosing to stay on Scorum? For example with all the ideas of increasing the user base will that guarantee a listing on a larger and credible exchange that doesn't wash trade like Hotbit (all their volume is fake). I have seen a few good ideas of how to bring more people here but who is going to pay a listing fee for a big exchange in the near future? While many say a new exchange listing isn't the main aim, I honestly think it should be. Even with no extra development done on the platform, it's got enough of a working product going to be attractive to some people if it had a credible exchange behind it's currency to get going. On another interesting development a Steem version of Scorum - Sports Token was doing well until recently and it's price has totally collapsed. What Can I Currently Earn on Both Platforms? Writing a post on sportstalksocial.com right now currently earns me between $1.15 and $2.50 (between 20,000 and 40,000 Sports tokens) Writing a post on scorum.com right now gets me anywhere between $1.35 and $2.60 (150-300 SCR). So ironically Scorum actually has more earning potential than Sportstalk once more! But sportstalksocial.com is linked to a more stable crypto which has better exchanges. This is how I figure if Scorum and SCR could get onto a good exchange without the help of the dev team (as they won't help) it could make the difference. Of course even I realise this is somewhat of a simplistic and potentially short sighted argument but please feel free to weigh in with your thoughts.
