Belgian Playoffs Week 8 Playoff 2 Matches

I managed to make around half a unit profit yesterday on the match between Standard and AA Gent thanks to a 94' goal from the visitors. I shared all my positions again on the SBC Discord even though none of them were bigger officially tracked bets. Only playoff 2 matches just like last weekend today and I will be taking a very cautious approach so only very basic previews today.

Beerschot vs Charleroi

Charleroi is in a good streak and in pole position to win their playoff 2 group. They dominated their home match against Beerschot who did not show anything offensively. Charleroi themselves did not manage to create that much and didn't need to play great to take the win. Beerschot took the win last week at home against Westerlo in a typical playoff 2 low quality / many goals match. Charleroi is the obvious favorite in this one and the line moved accordingly. I'm not interested to get involved in this match pre-game. If something pops up live I'll be ready to take it but will likely keep the stakes low.

Oostende vs Westerlo

This should be a friendly match with 2 teams that are unlikely to have a strong drive to win. These matches can go both ways, boring 0-0 or a crazy 3-3 score. It would be a total gamble for me to put money on this match pre-game. No Pre-Game Bets

Zulte-Waregem vs Kv Kortrijk

Zulte-Waregem showed to be a very tricky team to trust last week as they basically did not show up. This will be a derby against Kortrijk who are already sure to win their playoff group as Union doesn't have a European Licence. Kortrijk Avenatti was in great form but it injured for this match and Harbaoui still wants to make sure he wins the top striker title. Last season he was in a similar spot and scored 3 goals in week 8 against Waasland-Beveren. If I had 1x2 bookmakers available I would likely take some on Hamdi Harbaoui to Score @ 1.79. Sportsbet.io is offering this bet and I took 0.01 BTC on it (see below). He should always be in the starting 11 and if there is a penalty he will be the one to take it for sure. This match has an O3.5 line and some big potential to be a crazy one.

Waasland vs Cercle Brugge

Waasland is playing with a young team and is doing quite good performance wise while Cercle Brugge has a new coach who lost their first match last week 2-3 at home against Union in the final seconds. I'm not sure how far they will take these last couple weeks serious and are not already looking forward to next season. My lean is on the home team but odds moved down quite some. Waasland has shown to be capable of making a comeback while Cercle has done the opposite. If the visitors take the lead I might oppose them Live. No Pre-Game Bets

Union vs Moeskroen

Moeskroen seems to be back in better form after playing a horrible playoff 2 campaign so far. They really missed their offensive line who are mostly back now and Benson is starting on the bench. Union has been playing with a lot of joy and their matches have been potential goal fests. The line is set accordingly around over 3.25. If this match shows over signs I will likely get in on it.
