I'm making these posts weekly as a way to track my personal pre-game handicapping results along with my live betting action on Belgian Teams. These posts will always contain some insights when it comes down to my general approach and what I do to increase my chance of beating the market.

It was a really solid mid-week handicapping in the Belgian playoffs making just shy of 4 units profit! A week like this was long overdue as it has been since week 8 in the regular season when I made over 3 units profit on a single league round. Back then 26 units were staked to achieve that. Both the big pre-game bet on Club Brugge and none of the bigger live bets lost this week so I can't complain.

I mostly managed to get some good value in early on this week on bets where the opening odds simply were not correctly adjusted to the situation. Union +1 @ 2.043 closed at +0.25 @ 2.00 which is a move of 3 quarter balls as they call it in Asian handicapping. the big bet on Club Brugge +0 @ 1.85 I managed to get during their match against AA Gent in the weekend closed at 1.73 on Pinnacle. More than anything when it comes down to estimating how good or bad pre-game bets are, comparing the price you managed to get compared to the closing line on pinnacle is by far the best short term measuring tool. I also got in on Genk -0.25 @ 1.804 early which closed slightly higher around 1.85. that one lost but Genk deserved more in that match.

There are more matches with week 3 of the playoffs being played on Friday-Saturday-Sunday and Monday. I leave for a ski vacation Saturday night but am not planning to miss any of these matches. If anything, I'm quite devoted to handicapping the Belgian League and still enjoy it very much (especially when things go up). I plan on making all the needed preparations in advance for the weekend. I will likely be down to radio reports for live betting if wifi is not strong enough to stream the matches on my iPad.

I continued putting up live bets on the SBC Discord Server and these keep proving to be very profitable. My last record update on these showed 209 Bets | +11.870 Units Profit | +5.68% ROI and I'm already looking forward to being able to make the next results update on these a couple of weeks from now :)

Whenever there is a huge gap between the pink expected line and the blue line of the actual profit it shows how anything can happen in the short run. The pink expected profit line on my overall season graph is now almost exactly around the actual results.

The last match of the mid-week where Club Brugge played away against Anderlecht was a beauty and made me most profit. It could have been more if I followed the best case scenario I had in mind as written down in the SBC Discord "best case scenario it's Over 3 with decent odds at minute 60, 1-2 before minute 75 to bet over again along with club +0 in minute 82' to see a counter 1-3 and jackpot" The odds on the over around minute 60' were not as good as I had hoped and Club Brugge didn't come out on the counters enough for me to pull the trigger so I just stuck to the one late over bet at great odds which delivered.
