Playoffs Week 06 Results | 18W-19L-03P | -1.477 Units Loss

I'm making these posts weekly as a way to track my personal pre-game handicapping results along with my live betting action on Belgian Teams. These posts will always contain some insights when it comes down to my general approach and what I do to increase my chance of beating the market.

This week was actually solid and I'm feeling quite good about it despite the negative results. It was one of those weeks where things were just not meant to be despite good overall decision making. I always have a longer-term mindset making me more upset in cases I made a lot of wrong calls coming out with profit compared to weeks like these that could / should have had much better results.

It started on Friday where I took quite the big hit on the Antwerp vs Standard match. The under I was on looked like a lock but a light penalty along with a last-second goal in the 1st half really screwed me over. I did manage to get in on the over in corners right at the moment a penalty was given. This gave somewhat a 4 on 5 chance of being in an extremely profitable spot if the penalty was scored and in a slight disadvantage in case it was missed. Off course the ball did not go in and the ben ended with 1 corner shy of it being a winner. That match along set me back over 2 units as I was quite big on it.

Saturday was a good day but could have been so much better. Especially that 2nd goal from Cercle Brugge in the final seconds of the match killed the Cercle Brugge Team total Under 1.5 I was on and pushed a big bet I had on Zulte-Waregem +0 live. Genk also failed to score on the counter actually hitting the bar late in the match which kept the live +0 bet from winning

On Sunday I had a great pre-game spot on Sint-Truiden where the line moved greatly since I had taken it early. These spots with such a big difference 2.69 -> 2.00 are very hard to get into and expect a very high ROI. looking at it afterward I should just have taken the freeroll opting out of it risk-free. Sint-Truiden disappointed and only played a 2-2 draw.

Live betting on the SBC Discord Server again brought some profit. I made a results update last week which is at 232 Bets | +16.440 Units Profit | +7.09% ROI on the season so very solid overall.

Some regression to the mean this week with the graph getting closer to the expected pink line. I'm still above it for now during the playoffs so you won't hear me complain.
