First game was really interesting till Rohit Sharma was on the crease because he was the one who stood between victory and Australia but one man cannot save every time and thus Australia won the first match very nicely and now its time for 2nd ODI which will do or die situation for India because this ODI series is just of 3 matches where they must need to win this 2nd ODI anyhow to keep series alive so let discuss what will both team strategy and plan below.
2nd ODI will be play at Adelaide Oval which looks high scoring ground as currently some Big Bash Leauge matches played there and got to see lots of runs so we can expect that we will get to see 300+ score in 2nd ODI although some low scores also got to see but over-all is good batting pitch so both teams will again look to bat first and score big runs to take opposite team under pressure so they lose wickets in 2nd inning. India has very poor records at Adelaide Oval that played 5 matches but won only so they have not to think about past as this team is different and has potential to beat any team in any condition and on any ground. India can think that they won 1st test here on Adelaide oval from where they won the first-ever first test match in series in Australia so this time it may bring back in this series if they win this 2nd ODI. on this ground 300+ score also chased before so both teams will not worry about toss as the pitch will look same for the whole match.
India has to improve in batting again in middle over as it's their problem since many time because everytime not top order will perform and in that case, need to show some good potential from the middle order. Shikhar Dhawan was not part of the test so he played after a long interval so that is why he out early because he needs to give time to set on the pitch but this time let hope we get to see some class from him. Kohli was out by that kind of shot in which he is master and I am sure it will not happen again. Ambati Rayudu was clear out but he wasted review which cost again paid by Dhoni while he was not out but Umpire gave him out and all know he was not out but without review umpire decision was final so also need to think about that take review while you sure because later it may help to others who can change match result. Indian bowling once again in that condition that it was while Bumrah was not in the team and now India now how important spell of Bumrah in death over so also need to focus on bowling. India included Vijay Shankar and Shubman Gill in place for KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya due to controversy so let see they get chance of Kedhar Jadhav gets chances if they make any changes.
Australia performed so well in first ODI where they won it very easily. their batsmen performed very well especially Handscombs for what he brought into the team. Australia is only worrying for captain performance because he not able to score runs and same problem of bowl coming to stump by inswing and he was out in the same style since many innings even in last ODI series again South Africa so he has to improve there otherwise everything looks good from their side as Shaun Marsh was in tremendous form and all-rounder Marcus Stoinis too. both new bowlers Berhandoff and Richardson also performed well, infect, much better than their old teammates so its a good thing for them. their Top order is very strong and middle order too and I like their batting line up where at the end, 2 good finisher who can play big shots in death overs which is plus points for there. Australia can make one change by bringing Stanlake in place of Siddle because his extra pace creates trouble for India.
my prediction is that India will win this 2nd ODI and this time its Kohli shows because we have seen many times that Kohli played much better under pressure situation as well as in crucial game so my six sense says that in this match Kohli will show his class. Australia can also win as they have an advantage by winning the first match and if they keep performs like this then they can win too because Australian bowling line up is much stronger then Indian bowling line up so its interesting to see that which changes they will make and who will win so don't forget to see 2nd ODI between India and Australia which will play at Adelaide Oval from 8:50 AM IST tomorrow.
