After a long time, Nepal & UAE are set to face each other in the ODI and T20 series. Nepal has got the ODI status after the impressive performance in the World Cup Qualifier Zimbabwe last year. After that Nepal has played ODI series against the Netherlands only, it was two-match series, and it was drawn. UAE also retained their ODI status after showing good performance in World Cup Qualifier. They are currently ranked 14th in the ODI ranking.

The entry fee for the matches are free, so the fans can come and enjoy the matches for free. We can expect a massive number of Nepali fans in the stadium to support their team. All the matches are set to play in the ICC Acadamy Dubai.
Mohammed Naveed is going to play his first ODI & T20I match as the captain. Emirates Cricket Board suspends UAE important players Rohan Mustafa, Rameez Shahzad and Ahmed Raza due to undisciplined action.
There are many Nepalese workers in UAE, as like in the matches before we may see huge number of Nepali fans in the stadium. Sandeep Lamichhane is currently playing in the Bangladesh Premier League (BPL), and he will join the team before this series. Sompal Kami, one of the most crucial players for Nepal is back from the injury and is available for the series.
