Pakistan couldn't come victorious over the New Zealand team in the first one dayer, but the Pakistani bowlers bowling with discipline created an individual record.

New Zealand, in a rain hit encounter, defeated Pakistan by 61 runs through Duckworth Lewis method but in this match the Pakistani bowlers again with their bowling disposal created a new record.

In this match, Pakistani bowlers gave 10 extras with 7 wides but didn't bowl a no ball and created a new national record.

This is for the first time in ODI history of Pakistan that Pakistani bowlers didn't bowl a no ball in seven consecutive matches and the last no ball bowled by the Green Shirts was way back in Champions Trophy in the semi final which they played against England. Pakistan during this period have bowled 1786 balls without bowling a no ball.

Before this, Pakistan had created the record by not bowling a no ball in six consecutive matches.

An amazing view was experienced during the ODI match played between Pakistan and New Zealand when the umpires removed the bails from the stumps because of the strong winds.

When the ODI match started between Pakistan and New Zealand in Wellington, the bails got removed from the stumps again and again because of the strong winds blowing and when the play was stopping by the bails falling again and again the umpires decided to remove the bails from the stumps.

In most part of the New Zealand innings, because of the strong winds blowing the bails couldn't stay on the stumps and the game was played without the bails.

When the speed of the winds got better, the umpires decorated the stumps with the bails again.
