Overwatch is a team-based multiplayer first-person shooting game which is developed and published by  Blizzard Entertainment. It has been favorite game of blizzard fanatics as their shooter game category.

A tournament on Overwatch game was held on Blizzard Areana Los Angeles for the Overwatch League - Inaugural Season 2017-2018.  The prize pool of the tournament is $1,800,000 USD which many best players of the game take opportunity to take a chunk of the prize pool.

The tournament was really tough and it will not be an easy win for any of those teams since each of them are very competitive to each other, giving their all to the game. The best way to win in such game is to do some tactics that are advantage to opposing team and at the same time, a proper team work should be a priority.

Preseason

First, there will be a preseason which has been held last December 6th to December 9th 2017 which 12 teams participated in live stream exhibition matches at Blizzard Arena Los Angeles.

Regular Season

There will be matches in Atlantic and Pacific Divisions which will be played live. 12 Teams participated : Boston Uprising, Florida Mayhem, Houston Outlaws, London Spitfire, New York Excelsior, Philadelphia Fusion for Atlantic Division and for Pacific Division : Dallas Fuel, Los Angeles Gladiators, Los Angeles Valiant, San Francisco Shock, Seoul Dynasty and Shanghai Dragons. A Group Stage was initiated  into four stages to determine which team will go to the playoffs. The regular season was won by team New York Excelsior with prize money of $300,000.

During the Playoffs  four teams fight in the quarter finals :  Boston Uprising vs Philadelphia Fusion and Los Angeles Gladiators vs London Spitfire . Both Los Angeles Valiant and  New York Excelsior are waiting for those who will win the quarter finals so they could matched up for semi-finals. The game is still in progress and that the remaining teams are really tough and skilled gamer. It will be a competitive match and that the winner of the tournament should be recognized by Overwatch game community.
