Spanish footballer Santi Cazorla, after almost two years, finally returned to the pitch and in the shirt of Villarreal, where this summer arrived as a free player.

Cazorla left Arsenal at the end of last season after his contract expired, but will always be grateful to London club and former coach Arsene Wenger for everything he has done for him. When he earned a heavy injury, Wenger did not want to give up so easily, although he knew there was a chance Cazorla to complete his career.

After a tough injury, Cazorla thought of the deal that season ended in Arsenal. However, then Wenger did a great job and decided to give Cazorla another year of contract, which was ultimately crucial in his recovery.

"Arsene always supported me and it's time to find out how he saved my career. I continued the contract before the first operation and it was a really great gesture. He called me and told me that he wanted to continue the cooperation for another season, brought the documents and told me that now I can go to the operation without fear of the agreement. It has helped me in the recovery, I will always be grateful for it, "said Cazorla.
