It was a Red blood rivalry
It was more than just a game
Not only for the 3 points but bragging rights have to be maintained
It was a must win for both teams as they keep eyes on different records.
The only EPL matchday on Matchday 9 was against the two most decorated clubs in England.
Liverpool has been having a cool ride after 8 weeks and they hope to continue this against archrivals Manchester United.
Liverpool has to play without star Mo'Salah as Origi stepped up to fill his position as Klopp maintain his 4-3-3 formation. On the other side Manchester United surprisingly had David De Gea return to the starting lineup as Romero was left again on the bench. Paul Pogba, Nemanja Matić, Jesse Lingard, Luke Shaw were all missing from the squad.
Formation:
The Red Devil's surprising pop up with a 3-4-2-1 formation with Rojo, Lindelof and Maguire holding the back 3 while Rashford was the lone striker.
But few minutes into the game a 3-4-3 formation was observed.
With James, Rashford and Pereira leading the attacking line.
Despised the absence of Mo'Salah Liverpool maintained their 4-3-3 formation.
The form change to 4-4-2 as Oxlade-Chamberlain came into the game.

My Take
Ole Solskjaer made an appointing move by substituting Marco Rashford for Anthony Martial.
Rashford was the only player the only player that got Liverpool's defense busy and distracted and by the time he was pull off the pressure pushed in.
He needed to substitute Fred for Martial.
Manchester United were quite unlucky today and Liverpool didn't play enough to get a point from this game so Manchester United should blame themselves for such a cheap give away.
Fred had actually been given some freedom as he tour around the midfield and he really had an improve performance.
