Camp Nou was prepared to live a magical night of football after missing the Classic against Real Madrid over the weekend on matchday 10. The FC Barcelona received Real Valladolid for Matchday 11 game.

The Barcelona team arrived after not having played the Classic against Real Madrid after it was postponed for December, so their last game was the one played in the Champions League against the Slavia in Prague that ended with a favorable result of 1-2.

On the opposite side Real Vallodolid visit the Catalans after reaping a victory at home against SD Eibar with a 2-0 win on Matchday 10.

With this situation in both teams jet-off with a positive mindset with the initial whistle of the center referee Javier Alberola Rojas.

First Half: FC Barcelona reacts

The host came out to bite from the start in search of the goal, with their usual philosophy of possession of the ball on the green carpet. In the 29th minute, the Argentine sent a center breaking lines that was topped by Arturo Vidal , with a forced kick but that served to make the second goal of the Catalans, 2-1.

After the target, Sergio González team encountered more problems as Nacho was replaced by Salisu due to injury at the 32'.

In the 34' Leo Messi had a second chance at the ball, and it was not going to fail this time as the FC Barcelona captain made a powerful shot that surpassed Masip, 3-1 the scoreboards read.

Second Half: Decrease the pace, continue the goals

In the second half the duel could not find the rhythm it had in the first half. It seemed that both teams considered the result good.

Both Coaches try injecting new legs into their team as Anuar retired, Hervías entered and Óscar Plano retired for Enes Ünal for the visitors.

Ernesto Valverde then decided that Ivan Rakitic would jump to the ground, taking the place of Frenkie de Jong, Antoine Griezmann replaced Ansu Fati.

Then a crazy moment came as Leo Messi lift his hobby back from the seat. In the 75', Rakitic sent a ball to the hole that would be picked up by the Argentine, and with a powerful shot to the long stick, made it 4-1.

After a minute, in 76, Luis Suarez would do the little hand with a cross shot that beat Jordi Masip. It was 5-1.

The host then exhausted their substitutions with the entry of Sergi Roberto for Jordi Alba.

With moments of calm, the crash ended.

FC Barcelona continue their winning streak with a 5-1 victory and again regain the leading spot.
