This was the match I covered live at the Lafia Township Stadium, Nasarawa State, North Central Nigeria.

A controversial goal on the 60' by Thomas Adeshina helped Nasarawa United record their 3rd win in a row after a 4:1 demolishing of Delta Force FC in matchday 13 Fixture.

The match the recorded a whopping 9 yellow cards as both teams battle it out but the match Officials try keeping it calm but a disappointing one (1) shot on target in a 90 minutes play.

Nasarawa United retained their 5th position on log with 22 points.

FC Ifeanyi Ubah dropped to 3rd with 24 points, one point behind 1st and 2nd place team which are tie on same point.

Enugu Rangers 1:0 Katsina United

Enugu base side Rangers secured a 1-0 win over Katsina United at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium after Seka Pascal found the back of the net at the 17'.

Enugu Rangers has been enjoying a smooth trip so far in the league this season, losing only one (1) game, drawing three (3) and winning six (6) after ten games as they hope to return to the continental competition after a poor outing in the ongoing CAF Confederation Cup.

The win took Enugu Rangers to the second position in the Group A log table, pushing Enyimba FC of Aba to third position with goals difference and just two point behind Group A leaders MFM playing four(4) matches less.

Enyimba FC 0-0 Bendel Insurance

It was a barren draw at the the Enyimba international stadium in Aba as they continue in their draw party. It has been series of draw for the people elephant in their last five (5) fixtures, coming out top in one and drawing four (4), in which three of those draws were goalless. This draw has left Enyimba FC 3rd on the log with 21 points.

Bendel Insurance continue with their fine form after a back to back victory in Matchday 12 and 13 against MFM and Wikki Tourist respectively. The draw left Insurance on 9th with 16 points on the log.

A 31' goal by Wasiu Jimoh was all that was needed to nail Niger Tornadoes in Port Harcourt.

Niger Tornadoes who are rocking the bottom of the table or may be labeled "points sharer", has so far has been able to pull out just one (1) win after 14 league games and that was two months ago against Sunshine Stars of Akura.

This victory has handed United their second back to back win in the 2019 NPFL season, after getting their first away victory this season against Remo Stars on matchday 13.

This win took Rivers United to 6th place with 19 points while Niger Tornadoes keep calm at the bottom of group A table with 10 points.

Wikki Tourist 2:1 Remo Stars

Wikki Tourist hosting struggling Remo Stars who are swimming in the relegation water was no big deal on paper.

The home team drew first blood through Gara Isa goal in the 42 minute, which gave the home side a perfect first half.

The second half gave Remo Stars another opportunity to resurface in the game and Chidume Victor brought the scores to level at the 62'.

When we thought that it was over Musa Abdullahi hit the back of the net to seal the win for the Tourist.

The last 5 fixtures has shown two opposite teams when form is considered.

Wikki Tourist has won three (3), drew one and lost 1, while Remo Stars on the hand has lost three (3), drew one and won just one.

Wikki Tourist FC is now on the 5th position with 19 points while Remo Stars is remain on the 11th position with 12 points.

MFM has ran out of form in recent games as they keep struggling in their last six (6) fixtures pulling out only a win, after a superb form at the beginning of the season winning 6 out of 7 league games to lead group A.

Kwara United has been so uncertain with their form as they had never win, draw or lose two matches in a row in the ongoing 2019 NPFL season.

Shamsudeem Hashim 54' goal was all that gave the home side the maximum, as they move to 8th on the log with 18 points while MFM remains top with 23 points.

Lobi Stars 1:0 Sunshine Stars

At the Aper Aku Stadium Lobi Stars jumped over visiting Sunshine Stars from a 42' goal by Simiru Alimi assisted by Samada after a total first half dominance. The win moved Lobi Stars to 4th position with 20 points from 12 league games.

Sunshine Stars continue with their poor form winning just one (1) of their games in last seven (7) outings as they got dragged into the relegation zone as they currently stand 10th on the group A log.

Akwa United 2-0 Gombe United

Akwa United returned to winning ways after matchday 13 4-1 whitewashing by El-Kanemi Warriors away from home as their unbeaten run came to an end.

The visitors were able to remain clean in the first half as the Akwa Ibom team had a disappointing 1st half.

Akwa United returned stronger in the second half and was rewarded at the 74' as Olisemah Cyril an attacking midfielder score from the spot. The winning was sealed at the 90+3' as Fernando Wisdom a former Golden Eaglets and Akwa Starlet player put the ball behind the net.

The win saw Akwa United get back on top of Group B log.

Go Round FC 1:0 Abia Warriors

Go Round moved two places up Group B log after a 1:0 win against Abia Warriors. They currently stand 6th with 21 points after 14 league matches.

Abia Warriors drop off to 10th with 15 points as they sink into the relegation zone after losing the 3rd game in a row.

A goal by Nwogbaba Chiduben at the 78' was all that count.

Gambo Mohammed gave the home team the lead in the 8' to give the Pillars a rewarding first half. Ebuka David 61' goal double the lead for the home side but the tally was reduced as the Warriors was given a penalty and Kofarmata Bello didn't fail to hit the back of the net as they push for an equalizer but it was only meant to be a consultation goal.

It was a barren draw in Jos as Heartland ran away with one match point.
