Manchester United had a two-goal lead slip from their hands as a resurgent Aston Villa side came from behind to claim a point in the encounter at the Villa Park on Saturday.

Martial who has not started a game for United since October had earlier spoken of his desire to leave the club this January with Sevilla being one of the clubs keen on his signature in which Interim coach Ralf Rangnick is aware of but the Spanish team has not been able to meet the demands of both player wages or United loan fee.

With United heading to Villa park against Aston Villa. Manager Ralf Rangnick did not have many options in a squad beset by injuries and Covid-19 so the available players were called upon for the game with Martial one of them out of favor players to be called upon but according to manager Ralf Rangnick, Martial had refused to play against Villa and did not travel with the squad.

But how did Martial respond.....?

Martial who has scored 56 goals in 173 premier league appearances for the club and is contracted until 2024 has denied the claim in which he said he did not refuse to be involved in the match and posted on social media.
