The second Euro qualifiers action for the England national team who went into this fixture against Montenegro with lots of confidence from their 5-0 demolition of Czech Republic a few days ago and as favorites just completed yet another annihilation against Montenegro, and are seriously on fire at the moment.

England and Montenegro locked horn for their second qualifiers match action, a game that finally turned out to be a yet another annihilation result for England, as they breeze past Montenegro at the Podgorica city stadium.

Brief Post-Match Analyses

An exciting atmosphere it was at the Podgorica City Stadium, with fans of both nations all cheering and chanting.

On paper, England were favorites to get the win which they did superbly. The game began and as expected, England started in their preferred 4-3-3 formation, with Kane leading the line. Montenegro, on the other hand, lined up in a 4-4-2 formation with both Beciraj and Mugosa as the two front men.

Keane scored the equalizer and was the first goal scorer for England on the 30th minute, jumping highest to head in from a perfect Barkley free kick cross.

Barkley added his name on the scoresheet as well on the 38th-minute mark, stretching his leg to meet a curling effort on goal by Hudson Odoi, to put his team in front just before half time.

Barkley got his second goal for the match in the 59th minute, being in the right place at the right time to lash the ball into the far net, from a cutback pass following a fantastic individual effort by Sterling down the right-hand side.

Kane finally got his goal for the second match in a row for England in the 71st minute, receiving a square pass by Sterling to put the game beyond the reach of the Montenegro team.

Sterling who put in a man-of-the-match performance got his deserved goal on the 80th-minute mark, speeding up to a through ball to put the ball past the goalkeeper, to complete yet another annihilation outcome for the England team.

Another fantastic win for England in their Uefa Euro qualifier action. They are on fire at the moment, firing from all cylinders and are really showing signs of a team that will do great things in this upcoming competition next year.

France won their fixture against Iceland by 4-0. Goals by Umtiti in the 12th minute, Giroud in the 68th minute, Mbappe in the 78th minute and Griezmann in the 84th minute were more than enough to get the deserved win in their home soil.

Portugal and Serbia canceled each other out as both settle with a 1-1 draw. Goals by Tadic in the 7th minute for Serbia and Pereira in the 42nd minute for Portugal ensured that both nations had an equal share of the outcome.

Turkey, Ukraine, Albania, all got the win in their respective fixtures, while Kosovo and Bulgaria finished in a 1-1 draw.
