Great betting action yesterday with all pre-game positions ending up as winners and a late middle that hit on a perfect 2-0 score. Still plenty of matches to go this week but it's nice to be up quite some after the first match.
Zulte-Waregem vs Charleroi
This is the 2nd year in a row where 2nd Division team Union gets far into the Cup. They rotated 9 players in their last match but seem to take tonight serious. It's always a wait and see a scenario for teams like this best waiting for the final line-ups. Kortrijk has bee really poor as of late. The rotated 5 players in their last cup game and are near the danger zone in the League with an important upcoming match against Eupen followed by a home match against Cercle. Yves Vanderhaege in the past had occasions where he did not give the cup priority whatsoever and in a sense, I would be surprised to see him field his best squad. Time will tell and final line-ups are key for me to get any kind of betting action going. No Pre-Game Bets
Standard vs Antwerp
Standard seems to suffer the same problem each match of not being consistent all match long. At times they play pretty great especially when Amallah and Lestienne (both will play) are in good form, but they always tend to fall back whenever they take the lead. Antwerp took the narrow win against a very defensive Eupen last weekend and didn't really have the fire in the team. Both teams will put a high priority on this cup match. Standard is still without strikers Emons and Oulare while Antwerp will be missing Haroun in the midfield. Many players that used to play for Standard now are playing for Antwerp and the league match played in Antwerp ended in a 2-2 score after a high testosterone match. I do again expect this to be a fairly even encounter with possibly a lot of cards. Antwerp rarely has early goals in their matches and the over after 15 minutes in case it's still 0-0 is an option. Another remarkable statistic is that both teams saw at least 1 goal in their matches (Home/Away) 80% of the time this season. The odds and lines seem to be sett pretty correctly, I will watch out for potential live action. No Pre-Game Bets
