The last time Barcelona last finish in the third place was 2007-2008 season, this season was also a bad season for them has they were knocked out in the round of 16 of the Uefa Champions League which has not happened for the club since 2006-2007 Season.

Also, FC Barcelona and Bayern Munich are both trying to sign Georginio Wijnaldum, who will could be picked up on free transfer as the contract with Liverpool expires this summer to prepare for the coming season.

However, Koeman who just finish his first year spell at the club with low performance may likely be replaced according to media, but there are other sources that states he will be retained and sign contract extension. I dont seems to believe it was his fault but the team morale was totally down and all they need is a change of some players.
